An existing-player slot bonus is a promotion offered under returning-customer or account-programme conditions. Having an account does not establish entitlement to every reward. The invitation, qualifying activity, claim period and current balance rules determine what applies to a particular claim.
This guide compares public promotions, account invitations, reloads, cashback, spins and tier rewards. It explains repeat use, overlapping offers and the records needed when a reward differs from expectations. The bonuses hub covers the wider categories; all worked amounts here are hypothetical rather than quoted operator rewards.
Australian context: ACMA identifies online slots and casino-style services among illegal online gambling services offered to people in Australia. A returning-player invitation, accessible account or loyalty label does not establish Australian authorisation. Read ACMA’s consumer guidance. Public examples do not confirm eligibility for an Australian account.
Public listings are starting points for an account check
These operator listings were checked on 6 November 2026. They describe returning-player or programme promotions, rather than reusing a welcome headline as an existing-customer offer. The public page and an account’s actual invitation still need to be read together.

| Casino | Public listing and qualifications | Promotion information |
|---|---|---|
| Fair Go | Monday spins and Thursday inbox offers
Fun Monday advertises 25 spins on Monday after at least one deposit Saturday–Monday. VIP Thursday points to special bonuses in the casino inbox. The listing does not establish each account’s entitlement or complete spin-winnings conditions. |

| Ozwin | VIP Rewards and Friday inbox promotion
VIP Rewards names Hero and Absolute Legend levels. Friday OzDeal advertises three bonuses for two deposits and directs readers to their inbox. The public listing does not establish the precise rewards, qualifying amounts, wagering or eligibility for an individual account. |

No personal claim, deposit or withdrawal tests were made for these examples. An inbox reference is not a promise that every account receives the same message. A named day also needs its qualifying period, time zone and claim instructions checked before it becomes a usable offer description.
Separate the reward type from existing-player status
Existing player describes a customer relationship, not a single bonus calculation. A returning account can be offered different reward forms at different times. Identify what is credited, which activity qualifies and what conditions follow, rather than treating every later invitation as another version of a welcome match.
Reload credit
A later qualifying payment can receive a match under a particular offer. Its percentage, ceiling and wagering base need to be identified. See the reload guide.
Cashback
A reward can use a defined loss or another qualifying base. The rate alone does not establish unrestricted cash. The cashback guide explains calculations and periods.
Spins or another grant
A spin award needs a game, assigned stake and treatment of winnings. A grant without a new payment can still have account, expiry and withdrawal conditions.
A multi-part offer can mix those forms. A deposit match and a later spin batch should not receive one assumed wagering rule. Likewise, a cashback credit and a reward based on loyalty points need their own calculation and balance records.
The no-deposit guide and free-spins-without-a-deposit guide cover qualifying arrangements that must be established separately. Existing-account status does not make every reward payment-free. Our welcome guide concerns new-player offers; an old account returning after inactivity should not assume that category applies again.
Read the invitation issued to the actual account
A public promotions page can identify an offer’s existence, while an account invitation supplies recipient-specific details. Keep the complete message, not just its headline or code. It may identify the account, applicable version, qualifying action, claim sequence, period and linked conditions that are absent from a general listing.
A message sent to another customer is not evidence that the same reward applies to your account. A screenshot can omit its recipient, dates or qualification wording. An old successful claim also does not preserve that offer indefinitely. The current invitation must establish whether the reward has returned and on what conditions.
Account tiers need their own definition if a programme uses them. Check the qualifying activity, assessment period and which benefits are actually attached to a tier. A tier name is not a fixed monetary value, a guarantee of future invitations or evidence of better payment rights.
Distinguish tier progress, loyalty points, promotional credit and cash balances. They can measure different things. If points can be exchanged for a reward, ask for the conversion, minimum exchange, rounding and expiry rules. A points total should not be presented as the same number of dollars or as funds already approved for withdrawal.
A retention or reactivation invitation also needs its stated conditions. An account receiving a message does not establish that verification remains current or that every previous balance restriction has ended. Confirm the intended account and offer rather than creating another account or assuming an old customer has become a new customer.
Check what qualifies and how often it can qualify
Identify the eligible account, region, currency, payment methods, activity and previous participation. An ordinary cashier accepting a payment does not establish promotional eligibility. A payment minimum for a reward can differ from the account’s normal minimum, and a supported funding route can have separate bonus exclusions.
Repeat use needs a defined unit. A rule can apply per account, payment, invitation, day or promotional period. A code still appearing on a public page does not establish unlimited use. Nor does the start of another calendar week necessarily remove an account-level restriction or create a fresh invitation.
An offer requiring several qualifying actions needs each one identified. A two-payment headline does not establish the amount or timing of either payment, the value of each reward or whether one can be skipped. Read the sequence and reward schedule together instead of dividing a package total evenly between the actions.
Account history can matter under an offer’s actual rules. That might concern earlier claims, current status or activity within a stated window. Do not invent a universal inactivity period or assume every returning customer is treated identically. Ask which condition applies if an apparently eligible account receives a rejection.
Claim, qualify and check the credited components
Establish when an opt-in, code or request must be recorded. Some offers attach to a qualifying action only when selected beforehand; others use a later claim process. The actual instructions must determine the sequence. The bonus-code guide explains code recognition, claim confirmation and reward crediting as separate events.
Fair Go’s general terms specifically require a bonus to be claimed and received before wagering the initial deposit, with later requests refused. They also restrict bonus claims during pending withdrawals and combining promotions with existing playable balances. Those are operator-specific conditions; existing-player status does not waive them.
Record what the confirmation means. It may identify an accepted request, completed eligibility check or actual reward credit. Compare the named offer with the payment and bonus histories. A successful payment alone does not establish that the intended reward was selected or that every component is available.
If an expected reward is absent, identify the missing stage before further payments or play obscure the original record. Ask whether the issue concerns qualification, the claim, release of a later batch or an incorrect credit. Keep the original confirmation and written response rather than treating a repeated attempt as an investigation.
Compare the ceiling, wagering base and contribution
A match percentage needs a ceiling. Under a hypothetical 50% match capped at A$50, an A$60 payment produces A$30 of credit, while an A$200 payment reaches the A$50 ceiling. The second payment does not receive A$100 of credit. These figures illustrate a capped calculation, not a published offer above.
Hypothetical wagering comparison: an A$60 payment and A$30 bonus create A$90 of combined deposit-plus-bonus value. Twenty-five times bonus alone is A$750; twenty-five times deposit plus bonus is A$2,250. A multiplier without its base is therefore incomplete. Neither figure predicts winnings, losses or the fresh money needed to finish.
Contribution changes progress. If a hypothetical eligible game contributes 40% towards an A$1,000 remaining requirement, A$2,500 of otherwise qualifying stakes would supply that contribution. A zero-contribution game makes no progress; a prohibited game is a different restriction. The terms must establish which play is permitted.
Check the maximum promotional stake even when the game interface accepts more. Bonus purchases, gamble features or concurrent play can also have their own treatment. Lobby availability does not establish compliance with an active offer. A calculated turnover total cannot show whether an account will retain a usable balance long enough to complete it.
Cashback has a different calculation question. Ten per cent of hypothetical A$90 eligible losses is A$9 before a cap or other conditions. That is not ten per cent of every deposit or all stakes. Keep the eligible base and period with the reward rather than comparing a cashback percentage directly with a deposit-match percentage.
Use the bonus terms guide for definitions and the low-wagering guide for comparing multipliers and restrictions. More credit or a lower displayed multiplier does not establish the better arrangement without its base, games, expiry and withdrawal treatment.
Keep separate records for each reward component
A returning-player package can credit different components at different times. Record the match, spins, cashback or points separately, with the event that makes each due. One credited component should not be used as proof that the entire package arrived or that a later reward is missing before its stated release time.
Spins need the assigned game, stake and use period checked. Twenty hypothetical spins at A$0.20 represent A$4 of assigned stakes, not guaranteed winnings. The winnings can have their own promotional balance and conditions. A game title in an invitation does not establish that every version or stake setting is available.
Reward form matters for account totals. A hypothetical account showing A$100 of cash balance and A$20 of restricted promotional credit has A$120 displayed across those categories, but that does not establish A$120 of withdrawable cash. A combined headline can conceal the restriction that explains a later withdrawal difference.
A pending request can also move money out of the visible spending balance. Follow it through the transaction history and count the funds once. Do not add a pending withdrawal to a cash total that already includes it, or count a reward twice when it moves between promotional and cash balance categories.
If the credited reward differs from the invitation, ask for the component calculation rather than relying on a current balance that includes later activity. A payment receipt, bonus-history entry and spin counter answer different questions. Keeping them together makes the missing component easier to identify.
Separate qualifying windows, claims and expiry
A named day is incomplete without its time zone and qualifying window. Activity before the claim day may count under one offer and not another. Check whether a period is based on payment time, settlement, recorded game activity or another event. The date shown by a bank need not be the operator’s promotional boundary.
Record the qualifying-action deadline, claim deadline, crediting schedule and reward-use deadline separately. A reward received within one window can still have later wagering or spin expiry conditions. An invitation remaining in an inbox does not establish that its claim period is still open.
Repeat programmes can reassess eligibility or terms between periods. The same offer name or code in a later message does not preserve an earlier rate, cap or tier benefit. Keep the applicable version for each claim, particularly when a weekly invitation overlaps a monthly reward or an account-tier assessment.
For a delayed or disputed reward, ask what happens to the relevant deadlines. An enquiry does not necessarily pause them. Keep any written extension or correction with the original offer. A screenshot taken during an unfinished period may also differ from the provider’s final settled calculation.
Active promotions and pending withdrawals
Before selecting another offer, establish which promotion is already active and which balance it controls. The rules must say whether a new reward can combine, replace the existing promotion or remain unavailable. A second claim confirmation does not automatically establish two independent sets of spendable funds.
A later payment can also interact with an active balance. It may need to be kept separate or have a particular treatment under the operator’s rules. Do not assume a new deposit resets all earlier wagering or that it remains outside an active promotion. Ask how the transaction will be recorded before changing an unresolved balance.
Pending withdrawals need their own check. A reward invitation can arrive while a request is still under review, without establishing that it may be claimed at that moment. Do not assume cancelling a withdrawal preserves its earlier place, review time or conditions. The invitation and withdrawal process must each be understood.
Keep an offer register if several rewards overlap: invitation date, qualifying action, active component, remaining conditions, claim status and expiry. This is more useful than a list of codes alone. It also separates an old reward still being played from a new invitation that has not been accepted.
Understand declining, cancelling and receiving money
An invitation can be declined or left unclaimed under its actual process. Understand that option before treating every reward as an obligation to make another payment. A larger promotional balance is not automatically useful if its conditions do not fit the account holder’s spending limit or available time.
Cancellation can affect promotional credit and related winnings differently from ordinary deposited funds. Establish the balance breakdown and applicable rule before changing an active offer. Removing a code from a field is not necessarily cancellation of a credited promotion; cancelling a promotion is not the same as reversing a payment.
A non-cashable arrangement can remove the original bonus from an eligible amount. Hypothetically, A$140 containing A$30 of removable bonus credit would leave A$110 after removal, before other conditions or charges. That calculation is not a rule for the operator examples. The applicable offer determines what can become cash.
Completing reward conditions is separate from account verification, payment approval and receipt. The withdrawals guide explains request, review, release and receiving stages. A named fast payment method does not establish how long an operator reviews a claim or payout.
A reward ceiling and a withdrawal allowance can also differ. Read the withdrawal limits guide and identify the event and period each limit counts. An invitation to add funds does not establish that the same amount can be withdrawn in one request or without receiving-method checks.
Verify account messages and keep private evidence private
Read account messages through the genuine service rather than trusting an unexpected link or attachment. A message using an old username or familiar branding is not sufficient proof of its sender. Confirm the offer through an established channel if it asks for a payment, account change or sensitive information.
A promotional code can identify a public offer; a password, one-time authentication code and payment-voucher PIN serve different purposes. Do not disclose private credentials as evidence for a reward enquiry. Use the account verification guide to separate identity, ownership and transaction-status questions.
Keep communication preferences separate from account status and gambling controls. Ask the service what changing a preference actually does; do not assume one setting closes an account, cancels an active offer or affects every payment route. A returning invitation should not be treated as a reason to ignore an existing spending or exclusion decision.
Scamwatch warns about fake gambling balances followed by demands for fees, taxes or repeated payments. Do not keep sending money to unlock supposed winnings, and be cautious of recovery-fee demands. Contact the funding institution promptly if a scam is suspected.
Compare the complete invitation across the week
A useful comparison records the eligible account, qualifying action, reward form, ceiling, wagering base, contribution, stake rules, claim period, expiry and withdrawal treatment. Keep different offers separate even when they use the same programme name or arrive in the same inbox.
Repeated invitations need one spending record. Three hypothetical A$40 qualifying payments total A$120 before charges or later activity. Receiving three rewards does not make those payments costless. Track funds added, funds returned and remaining balances rather than counting only the promotional credits.
For an enquiry, identify the specific offer version, claim time, qualifying reference and missing component. Ask which condition explains a rejection or different credit and retain the written response. A previous successful claim, current tier badge or general promotions screenshot does not replace the record of the disputed invitation.
Our Responsible Gambling page provides support information. Keep essential expenses separate from gambling spending, and do not treat expected rewards or disputed balances as available money. A retention message is a promotion, not income or a requirement to keep participating.
This guide uses public primary information and labelled calculations without personal account invitations, claim tests or timed payouts. Send factual corrections through Contact with the supporting source. Individual eligibility and payment enquiries belong with the responsible service holding the account records.
Existing-player slot bonus FAQs
No. Eligibility depends on the actual offer, account and qualifying activity. A public promotions page, payment option or current account does not establish entitlement to every reward. Check the invitation, permitted region, currency, previous participation and applicable claim conditions. Do not assume that it does. Reactivation and new-customer eligibility are different questions. The current offer must establish which customer status qualifies. An old account, changed contact detail or new invitation does not by itself remove earlier account-level restrictions. A forwarded message is not evidence that the reward applies to your account. It may omit the intended recipient, version or qualification wording. Confirm the offer issued to the actual account rather than treating a matching code or familiar headline as sufficient eligibility. Only its conditions can establish repeat use. Restrictions can apply per account, payment, invitation or period. A new calendar week and a reused code do not automatically create a new entitlement. Keep the current invitation and rule version for each separate claim. No. They can measure different things under a programme. Check any conversion, minimum exchange, rounding, expiry and benefit rules. A points total or tier name does not establish the same amount of dollars, a future reward or funds approved for withdrawal. No. Establish what the message confirms and compare the account histories with each promised component. Match credit, spin batches, cashback and points can have different release conditions. Identify the missing component and its due event before assuming the entire payment or claim failed. The multiplier needs an amount to multiply. In a hypothetical example, twenty-five times an A$30 bonus is A$750, while twenty-five times an A$60 deposit plus that bonus is A$2,250. Contribution, stake restrictions and expiry also matter; the calculation does not predict the outcome of play. Do not assume it is allowed. The rules can restrict overlapping promotions, existing playable balances or pending withdrawals. An invitation arriving in an inbox does not resolve those conditions. Ask how a new claim would affect the current balances and unresolved request before changing them. No universal time zone should be assumed. Check the qualifying window, event counted, claim deadline and reward-use deadline. A bank date or an invitation still visible in an inbox does not establish that the operator’s promotional period remains open. That depends on the actual process and promotion. Deposited funds, bonus credit and related winnings may be treated differently. Request a breakdown before changing an active offer. Cancelling a withdrawal also should not be assumed to preserve its original review time or position.Does having an account make me eligible for every existing-player bonus?
